I HAD A FAKE ID FROM RHODE ISLAND
Donky Pitch released the Disk EP by Providence, RI resident The Range (a.k.a. James Hinton) just last week, so you've still got some time to catch up on the record before it's considered slept on. The Range's latest batch of tunes covers quite a bit of ground, considering the brevity of the release: there's the washed-out synth pad tune "My DB Limit," the hints of reggae in "No Lie," and the wonky, chunky beat and mesmerizing vocal sample of "Tonight." I'm tired of writing track descriptions today so I'm leaving it at that—the tunes are below, and they speak for themselves. As my British friends say, I rate these tunes.
