Video: Major Lazer- Get Free

Diplo is someone that I want to dislike, but ultimately I just can't. His DJ sets have transformed over the years from ones that showcased the best sounds of the dance underground alongside North American hip-hop classics (re: FabricLive.24) to ones where he plays out every clichéd dance music craze (re: brostep, moombahton and now trap music) at night clubs in Vegas and at glitzy candy raver festivals such as Ultra and EDC. All my beef with Diplo aside, the dude can still produce. Not only did me make arguably the best pop song of the year with Usher's "Climax," but he also dropped "Get Free" under his Major Lazer moniker, which features Amber Coffman of Dirty Projectors on vocals. The song has become somewhat of a summer anthem of mine, and given me yet another reason to like Diplo. What can I say? The man can produce addictive pop hits. Watch the video for "Get Free" below.
