​Capping off a week of excellent releases from the members of Black Hippy (including Ab-Soul's groovy "Nibiru"), "Westside, Right On Time" shows the artist formerly known as K-Dot in prime form. Laying rhymes over a Canei Finch produced beat that sounds classic from the first listen, Kendrick Lamar manages to make his raps sound beautiful, a nuance to his performance that sets him apart from his peers. Though this track won't be featured on the album, the highly anticipated good kid, m.A.A.d. city is due out October 2nd on Interscope. Grip a download below.
