Sigur Rós will release their new album on May 28th and as indicated by their newest track “Ekki Múkk”, it’ll be nothing short of beautiful. Close your eyes and dream, my friends.

SXSW was absolutely insane this year. Not only did we get the chance to see some of our most beloved acts, we were lucky enough to have those acts play our own shows as well. On Thursday we sponsored a showcase with Broken Teeth Crew,  and for it, brought out none other than the master chef himself, Lunice, to lend us his based frequencies. Now although we’ve seen Lunice throw down in the past, our dude went extra hard this time around, playing almost all brand new/unreleased tunes and of course, going more HAM than anyone else in the building. We were able to catch this #rare performance on video, watch it now below and start practicing your best cooking dance for when Lunice comes around your town (tour dates here).

It’s not that we completely wrote Odd Future off as has-been’s (as many people did), it’s just that after Goblin and a few other throw away’s last year, we needed the group to prove to us again why we fell in love with them in the first place. After a quick rise to fame, it was easy to see that inherent youthful and carefree outlook fade a little bit in their second recording efforts, and plain and simple it just didn’t feel like they were having fun with it anymore. Now it can be hard for any artist to cope with the newly added weight of expectation, so with the release of their newest project OF Tape Vol. 2, which dropped today, we were interested to see how the group has grown over the past year. After just a quick listen of the album, I think it’s safe to say Odd Future is back having fun.

UK Bass songstress Jessie Ware is back with “Running,” which is produced by Julio Bashmore and the Invisible’s Dave Okumu. The video for the tune came out today and can be viewed below, while the song itself is out via PMR Records on March 26th.

Arrange just released his Five Years With The Sun on JUKBOXR Records. It’s a beautiful and lush record paying homage to Malcom Lacey’s former home of South Florida. As successful as the record has been, Malcom is already spearheading an effort to self-release an EP to vinyl. To do this, he needs all of our help. You can help realize his effort right here by donating. What’s awesome about this is that there are different levels of donation; the more you donate, the more of a reward/gift he’ll give you.

Along with the project, Arrange has released the video for one of the songs off the new record, New Memory EP. It chronicles Malcom and his partner’s trip from South Florida to their new home in Portland. The heartfelt video matches the beautiful and warm texture of the song. And plus, their dog is adorable.
