I NEED AIR

Can’t even begin to express how much I’m in love with this song right now. “I Need Air” is the new single from UK super group Magnetic Man–which consists of artists Benga, Skream, and Artwork. The song is an epic journey to say the least, and will have you feeling like your floating on a cloud. Musically, it pulls influences from many different genres– from dubstep, to trance, to garage, to even pop music. This song is so next level that trying to classify it and put a name to the type of music it is would be plain wrong…this is simply good music ladies and gentleman. Enjoy it now, as this is the sound of the future.

Everyone’s favorite “rave-tastic spanish dreamweavers” known as Delorean just got some crazy fresh remix treatment for their new track “Stay Close”. The West Coast party crew known as Banana Clipz take this song to a whole new level, giving it that little spice it needed by adding in their signature “afro-beat drum riddims” and some pretty cool synths. Rainforest vibezz for sure…

WELCOME TO THE NEW LFTF

So here’s the deal- a couple weeks ago I found out that Blogger, the site I was using, was starting to delete peoples blogs all together if they had any suspicion of copyright infringement. Over a 24-hour span, 8 blogs were completely erased, with no questions asked. I felt like it was only a matter of time before I would get the boot, so I decided to make the move to WordPress.

At first I was a little angry that all the design work I did on the blog would go to trash, but then it became a great opportunity to take LFTF to the next level. With the help of Mike from Made By Guerrilla, we have created a great new look for the website. I wanted to give it a more professional look while still keeping that open, user-friendly feel.

With the move to WordPress, I have also added 2 new writers to the LFTF team–Colin and Austin. They will be helping me diversify the content here on LFTF and also with increasing the daily output. They will be posting their introductory posts soon, but for now, take a chance to get to know the new website. Welcome to the new LFTF home!
