ARRANGE- WHEN WE SAW (VIDEO)
02.04
Arrange just released his Five Years With The Sun on JUKBOXR Records. It’s a beautiful and lush record paying homage to Malcom Lacey’s former home of South Florida. As successful as the record has been, Malcom is already spearheading an effort to self-release an EP to vinyl. To do this, he needs all of our help. You can help realize his effort right here by donating. What’s awesome about this is that there are different levels of donation; the more you donate, the more of a reward/gift he’ll give you.
Along with the project, Arrange has released the video for one of the songs off the new record, New Memory EP. It chronicles Malcom and his partner’s trip from South Florida to their new home in Portland. The heartfelt video matches the beautiful and warm texture of the song. And plus, their dog is adorable.

SHIGETO: LINEAGE MINI-LP
01.31
Yesterday, Ghostly released Shigeto‘s mini-LP Lineage. This record demonstrates his unflinching respect for jazz, hip-hop, funk, and folk constructions. There’s something here for everyone to like. Ghostly says it best when describing Shigeto’s masterpiece, “Each song is a complex constellation of sounds and ideas, but his compositional focus and restraint grounds songs that are otherwise cosmically inclined.”
It’s also a familial occasion for the experienced producer. The front cover displays a picture of Shigeto’s great grandfather’s house from the early 20th century in Hiroshima. The back cover is a picture of his great grandfather during his time at an internment camp in Colorado. Truly personal indeed.
This record is beautiful to the point that it will take your breath away. It’s layered with delicate and intricate textures that combine to create something way more appealing than the sum of its parts. The record is streaming courtesy of The Fader. You can purchase it from Ghostly International.
TEEN DAZE- BROOKLYN SUNBURN
01.30
Teen Daze will release on May 22nd All Of Us, Together, his first full-length. With the amount of success Jamison has reached in recent years, this seems a little ridiculous. He has put out multiple singles and EPs here and there, and even finds time to produce just as successfully under his other project Two Bicycles. But this Teen Daze LP will be different. It’s an homage to utopian visions marred by futuristic synths and grounding emotions. Over on The Fader, Jamison has been quoted as saying, “We’re becoming more and more self-reliant, more and more separated from our communities. I wanted to make a record that sounded more synthetic but also inviting—this is futuristic music with a heart.” In other words, this record has the all the elements of a timeless classic: one that is capable of transporting us to an unrealized world but still retains beauty from the now. A SMOOTHIE ROBOT FOR MY MOON MANSION

This tune is beautifully languid. The muffled piano swirls with soothing goodness while coupled with the crisp cymbals and deep, yet poppy snares. It results in Ricky Eat Acid‘s encapsulation of the very essence of warm and fuzzy. Download it below.
