Mary Anne Hobbs rounded out the year at her Xfm show by inviting some of 2011′s most exciting producers/DJs to contribute mixes including the likes of Scuba, Mosca and Swamp81 label head Loefah. However, the most interesting mix of the lot comes from Karenn, the collaborative project between UK Bass producers/DJs Blawan and Pariah.   Every new release or mix from Karenn and/or Blawan has seen the artists showcase a new direction for their sound. Blawan’s latest 12″, Peaches, was pulsating industrial goodness, while the Karenn 12″, SHEWORKS001, was a simultaneous mixture of bass heavy UK Garage, techno and house music.
