Producer Thelonious Martin keeps things nice and smooth on his newest production piece for Odd Future member Hodgy Beats. “BLKN” comes in laced with silky piano work and warm boom-bap percussion, the perfect foundation for an ode to the finest plant on earth. Hodgy Beats/Mellowhype rarely ever steps out of his OFWGKTA mold to work with other producers, but we’re really feeling the chemistry between him and Theo. Let’s hope this isn’t the last time the two get together.
