World DMC champ and all around cool guy (NYU professor, sandwich connoisseur) DJ Shiftee is back at it again, this time showing off his remix capabilities. The other week, Shiftee debuted a rework he did of Xcuse’s “Allright” over on Mishka’s Bloglin, turning the diva-voiced electrohouse jam into a back breaking bass anthem.

Today, we have been graced the opportunity to debut another new remix from the world renowned dj–a rework of UK singer Aurora J Young‘s beautiful track “Sugar Sweet”. In comparison to his “Allright” remix, Shiftee decides to take an alternate route, trading in brutal bass quakes for sensual steel drum work. The overall vibe of the song is irresistibly mellow, but infused with enough bass-inspired juice to keep your blood flowing.
