We all know and love Star Slinger for his chopped up soul samples and thick-layered beats, but for this new remix here done for the song “New Beat” by Toro Y Moi, the UK producer decided to go a totally different route. “I didn’t wanna make a typical soulbeat when i was asked to do this, so made a riddim instead,” said the Manchester native of the remix.
