HEADS UP: So from here on out, the Weekly Dose of Filth will now not only feature the newest tunes in grime Dubstep but will also include the latest in jump-up Drum & Bass. Over the past year I’ve grown increasingly fond of D&B, and I think it’s about time I implement some of that into the site. Don’t have a clue what Drum & Bass is? Just think Dubstep but faster, giving the track an even higher level of energy. Alright now that that’s over with, ON WITH THE TUNES:
Professor Green- Just Be Good To Green (Camo & Krooked Remix)
Sigma- Front 2 Back (Original Sin Remix)
Dj Fesh- Gold Dust (Flux Pavilion Remix)
Northern Lights- Excalibur (feat. MC Shaydee)
Dj Die & Interface- Bright Lights (Rockers mix)
Caspa- Terminator (Trolley Snatcha Remix)

That is, without a doubt, the worst description of DnB I’ve ever read. Whatever, good tracks.

sigh @ VBR encoded tracks. might as well just link youtube rips, they sound better.

Good on ya for getting more DnB on here man. It’s a bit of a shame to think there cold be people out there who might know dubstep but not DnB, especially given it’s roots are largely from DnB and the dubstep scene has been greatly driven by DnB fans looking for a new sound.
Long live the filthy breakbeats!

That Flux Pavilion remix of gold dust is (fucking awesome) dubstep, it’s the Vent remix that’s drum and bass: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3M4l1YYeopU

Oh don’t be such a drum & bass purist…I know that it doesn’t necessarily cover all the bases i know that…I just needed a quick little something to get the point across. You got to understand most of the people who come to this site are Americans that know nothing of the genre and only know that they like Dubstep. I know and love Drum & Bass… but for me be able to post more of it on the site, I have to ease my readers into it. I couldve gone for a paragraph talking about how it rooted in the UK out of jungle and it is where Dubstep actually came from but I wasnt looking for that, just needed something short n sweet!

Yeah fair enough man. Put them onto some of Chase n Status’ album more than a lot and they’re sure to get the picture – and be hooked quick smart! Pieces never fails to make me want to jump up and go mental!
